CHANGE THE BULBS!

BULB I wanted to write today about some everyday tips that you can use to save energy, save money and most importantly, SAVE OUR PLANET! My wife and I switched to CFL’s over 3 years ago. What are CFL’s? Click on the link to learn more about CFL’s and how they work.

The best news is CFL’s prices are dropping when we first bought them they were approximately $10 a bulb, they are now much more affordable today. You can get a 2 or 3 pack for under $10. I cannot express how great CFL’s are and how they worth every penny. We still have our bulbs we bought three years ago and they are still going strong.

Another great fact is they save you money in the long run and produce less green houses gases then incandescent bulbs(Normal bulbs). As you know or might not know is that the U.S. wastes more energy per household then any other country. We waste so much energy that we produce twice as much carbon monoxide then any other country. We need to change our ways for the sake of our kids, and its your job parents, to lead by example.

Furthermore, If you haven’t been concerned with the environment, you should be. You can help by starting with your home. Change the bulbs! It is a good first step. You will be happy with the change, and you can feel better about yourself that your contributing. There are many other ways you can help.
