I have to say I like it more and more with every post that I do. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, but after realizing the potential to make a little money blogging about things I like, what can be wrong with that? I enjoy logging in to payperpost and seeing what opportunities are available to me. The dash board and setup they have to find opportunities is really easy to use. Once I find a company that is related to my blog, I review it and get paid. It is that easy! I cannot say enough how great PayPerPost has been. I have made a decent amount of money on the side which I have put back into my blog.

If you have a blog and have not joined PayPerPost, please, do your self a favor and sign up. You can’t go wrong with joining PayPerPost and joining the postie community! The key is to make it work for you. I try and blog only what’s related to my blog and the best thing I found is the PPP Direct where companies can hire me directly to write about their product or web site. I have had one company contact me directly recently and it was just the greatest thing. Easy, quick and fast!

Sign up now, I’ll even slap down the form for you!

New York City has long been home to artists, eccentrics, and oddball types. But now, the boisterous free spirits in apartment 2B better watch out. They might be written up on the Web’s newest forum for anonymous complaints, RottenNeighbor.com.
A kind of “Don’t Date Him Girl” for the home-owning set…

I am heading over to TheFind to do searches now, Google just doesn’t do it when your looking for products. For example when your trying to find Ipod Running Shoes. (I just recently brought a pair! They rock! That is for another post!)I like to see pictures and styles of the items I am searching for. It’s like virtual window shopping. You can also register and save the things you find and many others cool features.

Let’s take the Nintendo Wii for example. I put in the search box,’Wii Console’ and got a return of, “Our Web Search found 3,371 results from 538 stores for wii console.” Another wonderful feature is shopping by color and cost. They make it very easy to find what your looking for. As they say, their concept is simple; they find all the stores online and bring every product they carry right to you. I really enjoy using the site. Take a moment and do a few searches, let me know what you think?

Romlet was not available to the public at the time, but was allowing people to register for their beta program. I was notified when the beta opened and quickly starting designing the widget that you see located on right side of my blog. After customizing and debating which widget to use, stat counter or favicon, I went with the favicon. Once it was placed I thought it was such a cool little widget, the folks at Romlet came up with a real sweet idea of integrating a widget that works as bookmarking tool, stat counter, and a brag badge. I recently just received notification that Romlet loved my little widget design as well. My blog was nominated for the Best Integrated Widget out of 1,000,000 widgets that was served. I think it’s a cool honor and I am personally thanking them for the mention.

Some of these are quite elegantly set into their surroundings while others stick out like sore thumbs. Categories range from “Best Overall Design” and “Best Integrated Widget” to “Most Outrageous” and even “Most Pink.”

I love the features it has to offer. This is the first time I have joined a community like this. It is different then the others that I have seen. You’re probably thinking, ” Ahh its just another blog community site”. I know, in the last couple years these blog community sites have been exploding. So many things one can add to your blog, widgets, community badges etc etc etc. MyBlogLog seems to be a little different. A difference worth trying.

When I signed up in June I was greeted by one of the cofounders Eric Marcoullier. That was “Very Nice”(Borat). Quickly I was impressed because I could click on the message to view his profile and leave comments. Try that with a welcome email from a company president or VP! I also quickly noticed that I can browse anyone’s profile and add them as a contact or join their community. Sweet!

It was very easy to setup and add the features to your profile. You can share a lot information, or none at all, it’s your choice. It has a pretty good interface to view features. You can’t really customize the look, but it gives you a lot of information on visitors and communities.

Then it happened, I got hooked! Over the last couple of weeks I have seen more and more people visit my site and leave comments. It was very easy for me to track who visited my site, view their profile, and see what links they clicked. It tracks a good bit of information that you can use to monitor traffic through MyBlogLog. Now I am finding myself visiting people who visit me, reading their blogs and joining communities to share information.

Lastly, if your not part of the MyBlogLog community, it is worth the time and effort to help get your blog read… Right!? That is why many people have blogs to share thoughts and information and MyBlogLog helps you do just that.

Today I finally had a chance to check out StumbleUpon. I happened to see the tags around and this was a site on my list to visit. “StumpleUpon” if you haven’t heard of this website, it kind of works like Digg, it helps you discover and share websites. Unlike Digg, however, it has a “Stumble” button were you can randomly go to the most stumbled upon website, pictures or videos. The more frequently your site or item is stumbled upon by others, the more likely it will be stumbled upon when they click the button. I found this quite interesting just to click on the stumble button and see where it takes me.StumpleUpon also has online community where you can browse other Stumblers and read their profiles and blogs. Just like the MyBlogLog’s community you have the ability to join StumbleUpon communities as well. StumpleUpon has toolbar feature were you can download and install it to your browser, which helps you quickly submit the site you like or dislike. I was hesitant about whether I should install the toolbar or not. I don’t need anymore TOOLBARS! Where is the one toolbar to rule them all?! If someone knows one that can be totally customizable and doesn’t add spam… Please let me know! I went ahead and installed it anyway, and it seemed very useful to submit things I stumbled upon It also has a friends and favorite button so you can jump to a favorite or to a friends websites that they have stumbled upon as well.

So if your avid web surfer and like to share what you find, head over to StumbleUpon and try it out. It is definitely well designed website, easy to maneuver through, and quick to sign up. This is definitely Like’d.

So the other day I was browsing around and noticed a website from a search I was doing. The website is called whos.amung.us. and of course I had to find out more about it. I was intrigued by the name. I thought it was a up incoming movie or something. Also I am partial to .us websites if you didn’t notice This was a very cool website that uses these widgets to track how many people are currently reading your blog or website.
I love finding little gems like this. A very simple, quick and not to mention free bit of code you can drop on your website. Indeed the best feature of this there is NO registering or anything. Very cool. This is definite site I wanted to share. If anyone wants this head over to whos.amung.us to check it out!

Here is example of what the widget looks like:

The websites logo is “Shopping Search Reinvented”, and they mean it! The Find http://www.thefind.com/ is a refreshingly unbiased product web search. Shoppers have access to over 500,000 stores–not just stores that pay to be listed. When you search, products are listed with pictures, not text links. I especially like that product pictures can be compared side by side right on the search page, allowing me to search for products while comparing them to the ones that I have already found. It is still in beta, but I think it is already worth using!
